2007-easternfront+ : Every summer a group of friends goes riding back roads in Eastern Oregon for a weekend. This year four of us extened the trip for 4 more days. Stephen, Squrl and Norman are all very accomplished riders, so I spent almost the entire trip riding cleanup. Squrl picked out a route consisting primarily of single lane paved logging roads through the heart of the national forests with a few short dirt sections. Tight technical riding, that was super fun and demanding. We didn't really cover too many miles but they were hard miles. A total of 6 days, 5 nights 4 camping and about 1800 miles.

RunForTheArts-GorgeHike : A couple of weeks ago Tucker ran in the school's fundraiser for art
programs, did 9 1/4 mile laps in a half hour which was 3 more than
last year. Pretty good going and she was really proud of herself. Later
that weekend we went for hike in the gorge.
